Privacy Policy for 2048 Classic
Last updated: May 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application 2048 Classic (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information. By using the App you agree to this policy.
Who we are
The App is developed by thenone (the “Developer”). For any questions about this policy or your data, contact: bhr.tawfik@gmail.com.
Information we collect
We do not ask you for, or directly collect, personal information such as your name, email, or location.
The App stores a small amount of data only on your device (it is not sent to us): your best score, your sound on/off preference, the number of free “redos” left, and whether you have purchased “Remove Ads”. Uninstalling the App removes this local data.
However, the App uses third-party services that may collect information automatically, as described below.
Third-party services
Google AdMob (advertising)
The App shows banner and rewarded video ads via Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect and process data such as a device advertising identifier, IP address, and app interactions to serve and measure ads (including, with your consent, personalized ads). See Google’s policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Google Play services & Google Play Billing
Used on Android for core services and to process the optional “Remove Ads” in-app purchase. Payment is handled entirely by Google; we never receive or store your payment details. See: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Consent (EEA / UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region where it is required, the App shows a consent form (via Google’s User Messaging Platform) before serving personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time using the Privacy options button in the App. Where consent is not given, ads may still be shown in a non-personalized form.
Your choices and rights
- Reset/limit ad tracking: use your device settings (“Reset advertising ID” / “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android).
- Remove ads: the optional one-time in-app purchase removes ads.
- GDPR/CCPA: depending on your region you may have rights to access, delete, or restrict processing of personal data. Because we do not hold your personal data ourselves, such requests for ad-related data should be directed to Google, or contact us at bhr.tawfik@gmail.com and we will help where we can.
Children’s privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it.
Data retention & security
Local data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the App. Data processed by the third parties above is retained according to their own policies. We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page.
